GET AWAY TO IBIZA IN AUTUMN!!

Ibiza is a joyful and wonderful island usually associated with partying during the summer season. But the appeal of our island goes beyond the hubbub of the nightclubs, it is for this reason that it is an ideal destination for an autumn getaway.

If you want to visit the Unesco Heritage city, you just have to start with the visit from the central Vara del Rey square, where you can enjoy good breakfasts on its terraces, to continue the walk through the port, go through the Portal de Ses Taules and go up to the upper part of Dalt Vila. Here, the chapel of San Ciriac, patron saint of the city of Ibiza, the Cathedral, the Museum of Contemporary Art and above all the wonderful views of the city and the port from the Baluart de Santa Lucia and San Bernat are worth a visit. Also getting lost in the narrow streets of the old city is priceless.

For a drink, a good option is to look for a terrace in Plaza del Parque right at the foot of the fortification walls of the city.

To eat, we recommend going to Marina Botafoch, which is on the opposite shore from Dalt Vila and for this reason has beautiful views. You can also visit some markets, such as Las Dalias, on Saturdays.

Nature lovers can enjoy many hiking or mountain biking routes, especially in the north of the island. Kayak and trekking trips are organized.

Thanks to the climate that favors us, you can enjoy sunny and calm days on dreamy beaches and coves. You can also enjoy unforgettable sunsets from Sant Antoni or from a nearby cove, such as from Cala Conta. Every corner of Ibiza becomes, in autumn, for visitors and residents a true luxury for the senses, a small instagrammable paradise.

FORMENTERA SLOW FOOD

Tradicional cuisine, native products, local wine and great taste.

Formentera typical cuisine is closelY linked to the traditional way of life, strongly influenced by the link with the sea and rainfed agriculture. It is characterised by an almost absolute dependence on local product, due to the isolation of Pitiusas Islands.

This shortage of products, combined with creativity and the use of high quality product ( such as fish) , has given the rise to traditional recipes such as:

“Payesa” salad ( with peix sec – dries fish, made in a traditional way with a unique flavor. It is made with cartilaginous fish (ray), sun dried, salted and packaged with organice olive oil.)
Frit de polp ( fried octopus)
Sofrit pages ( with meat and potatoes)
Calamar a la bruta ( fried squid in its own ink)
Bullit de peix ( fish stew with potatoes)

The most characteristic desserts are:
Flaó (fresh cheese cake with mint) Orelletes ( eniddes swwet) and Greixonera (ensaimada pudding)
enjoy your meal!!!!
